About Old McDonald Labs
Our Story
We are a family-owned and operated breeder that has been in the business for over 20 years. Our passion for Yellow Labrador Retrievers started when we got our first Yellow Labrador Retriever Kye and fell in love with their loyal and friendly nature. He also had great talent with long distance retrieves. One time I watched him dissappear over the hill about a half mile away chasing a goose that was crippled. Kye attempted to retrieve it and when he got close to it the goose jumped up and started flying again about 6 ft above the ground. I thought no way is he ever going to catch that goose. About 45 minutes later he came back with that goose. I could not believe my eyes. Since then, we have been dedicated to breeding healthy, intelligent, loyal and happy labradors for families to enjoy.
